Version 0.2 · Effective 2026-09-01

Leisure Friends is owned and operated by PGBDIC LLC, an Illinois limited liability company.

These are the things everyone here has agreed to. They are short, and they are the whole of it.

This is a platonic space

Everyone here accepted the Platonic Pledge. Treat every conversation as what it is: an invitation to do something together, not an opening. Romantic or sexual approaches are the fastest way to lose an account, and reporting one is always the right thing to do.

Be the person on your profile

Your photograph should look like you today, and your introduction should be you speaking. The whole product rests on people being able to trust that the person who arrives is the person they arranged to meet.

Nobody is selling anything

No recruiting, no multi-level marketing, no paid coaching, no soliciting donations, no pitching a business. If money would change hands, it does not belong here.

Meet in public, at least the first few times

Plans name a public place because that is the safe default, not a formality. Nobody should feel awkward about keeping it that way for as long as they like.

Answer, or let it lapse — but do not leave people waiting

A clear “not this time” is kind and completely acceptable. Declining is never held against you, and the other person is not told anything beyond that you passed.

No means no, the first time

If somebody declines, does not reply, or ends a conversation, that is the answer. Do not ask again through another activity or a new invitation.

What we check — and what we don’t

Being on Leisure Friends is not a recommendation from us. We do not screen people for character, compatibility or safety, and seeing someone here does not mean we vouch for them. You decide who is worth meeting.

We don’t check who anyone is. Leisure Friends is for adults and the Terms require it, but we do not verify identity or age and we do not run background checks. Nobody here has been vetted by us.

Photographs get a technical check only. Photographs and introductions are checked automatically for type, size and whether they can be read at all, and are stored privately. Nobody looks at your photograph and decides whether you may be seen.

We do not review profiles beforehand. No one reads your profile, approves it, or judges whether you are a good match for anybody. Members publish their own activity profiles.

We act when something is reported. Blocking and reporting are always available, and we act on conduct that endangers somebody without waiting. We act once something is reported to us — we do not read what people write in advance.

You decide the rest. Profiles are built to help you judge for yourself: what someone is up for, when they are free, how they describe themselves, and what they hope to find. Meet in public and take your time.

What happens when a rule is broken

Blocking is immediate, mutual and never disclosed to the person blocked. Reporting sends the matter to a moderator, who can remove content, suspend an account or end it. You can report from a profile or from inside a conversation, and you never need to explain yourself to the other member first.

The full agreement is in the Terms of Service, and what we hold about you is in the Privacy Policy.

Questions about this document, or about your data, go to Getting help, which says how to reach us and what you can do without waiting for anybody.
