Writing to a person
There is no support address yet. We would rather say so than print one nobody reads.
If somebody invited you, reply to them — they can reach us.
What are you writing about?
Name which one in your first line.
Somebody is in danger
Contact your local emergency services first. We cannot respond quickly enough to help in an emergency, and saying otherwise would be dangerous. Tell us afterwards and we will act on the account the same hour.
Answered the same hour, any hour.
Somebody is behaving badly
Harassment, pressure, anything romantic or sexual, or somebody who is not who their profile says. Tell us who, and what happened. You do not need evidence to report — we would rather look and find nothing.
Answered four hours in waking hours, resolved within a day.
Block them nowYou cannot get into your account
Sign-in links expire after an hour and work once. Tell us the address you used and roughly when you asked for the link.
Answered one working day.
Ask for a new linkA copy of your data, or a correction
Tell us which account, from the address it uses. We answer a data request within 30 days and usually far sooner.
Answered within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Delete everything yourselfSomebody has used your work
Send: what the work is, where on Leisure Friends you found the copy, how to reach you, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, a statement that your information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them, and your signature. If your own material was removed and you think that was wrong, write and say so — we will look again.
Answered one working day to acknowledge.
Something is broken
What you were doing, what happened, and the phone or computer you were on. If an error page showed a number, send it — it is how we find the exact request in our logs.
Answered one working day.
Anything else
A question, a suggestion, or something that does not fit above.
Answered two working days.
When we are reading
- Messages are read at least once each working day.
- At weekends, safety reports are read the same day. Everything else waits until Monday morning.
- Anything about somebody being unsafe is read every day, including weekends and holidays.
We are not an emergency service. If somebody is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — always.
What we hold about you, and for how long, is in the Privacy Policy. What we ask of each other is in the Community Rules.
